China tests drones in the wild

This is the first time this experiment has been performed in an all-natural environment. The purpose of the test is to evaluate the ability to cross the terrain, adapt to the environment, avoid the risk of collision of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

ten Unmanned aircraft palm-sized, equipped with a depth and height camera and an onboard computer. Their biggest advancement is in possessing an intelligent algorithm that helps avoid collisions, fly efficiently and coordinate with the instruments in the fleet.

These drones are expected to be officially put into service in the next few years.
