The mobile home is based on the 1989 Toyota Hilux pickup, using a turbo-diesel engine, 111 hp and 313 Nm of torque, combined with a 5-speed manual transmission to send power to the rear axle or in all corner through a 2-speed gearbox.

The biggest minus point is the right hand drive, or used for places on the left side. Even so, the car is still being auctioned in the US, where the right side of the road is. In fact, it is still possible to drive a right-hand drive vehicle, but it will be much more difficult.

Ignoring this minus point, the living space is really appreciated. The ceiling has overhead lights, bunk beds, and the cabin has a panoramic view thanks to windows everywhere. The roof is designed to pop up. The common living area uses wooden furniture, below the seats is a storage cabinet.

Behind this Toyota Hilux is a kitchen area equipped with a wooden table top, a sink, a stove, and a refrigerator. The bathroom has a toilet and shower.

For long trips, this mobile home is equipped with a solar battery on the roof that can power a laptop.

The car is being auctioned, so the final value of the “house” cannot be given yet, but the Toyota name alone is enough to guarantee a good resale price even after 52,000km.

Not only that, truck trailers were once a craze in Japan, considered a symbol of luxury in the 90s. Such motorhomes are hard to find, let alone in good condition and has been comfortably refurbished as above.
