Hanoi University of Science and Technology recruits 7,990 students in 2022, an increase of nearly 600 compared to last year, in which Chemical Engineering majors recruit the most.

This year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology enrolls 60 training programs in six majors, increasing one program, Biomedical Engineering (code ET2) with 80 targets. Chemical engineering is still the most recruiting major with 600 positions, 80 students higher than last year. In addition, students of the specialized system (including majors in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics and Foreign Languages) of high schools are also eligible to apply for admission by this method. Candidates with IELTS 6.0 or higher or equivalent are eligible to apply for admission to the majors of English Language and Economics – Management.

The admission condition is to achieve the average grade point average of each year of study in grades 10, 11 and 12 from 8 or higher. Candidates can choose up to two aspirations corresponding to these two training programs under this method.

In the method based on the results of the high school graduation exam, the school applies to a number of training programs with a combination of A00, A01, A02, B00, D01, D07, D26, D28 and D29. Candidates must have an overall GPA of 6 semesters in each high school subject in the combination of 7 or higher (or the total of 6 semesters average of 3 subjects of 42 or more).
