Russia holds a grand military parade to celebrate Victory Day over fascism

About 11,000 soldiers, 131 military hardware and 77 aircraft participated in this year’s parade, Russian officials said.
Leading the motorcade participating in the parade was the T-34-85 tank. This type of tank is considered by many military experts to be a harmonious combination of armor protection, mobility, and firepower. During World War 2, the T-34 won many victories over Nazi heavy tanks. According to a previous statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense, a series of mechanized equipment such as T-34-85 tanks, T-72B3 tanks, 9K51M Tornado-G rocket artillery, Msta 2S19 self-propelled howitzers, anti-aircraft missiles Buk, ballistic missile vehicles such as RS-24 Yars… will participate in the parade.
The New York Times reported that the Kremlin announced that the air show of the planes at the parade had been canceled due to weather reasons. The Kremlin said no foreign officials were invited to this year’s parade.
