THACO wants to build a tourist and resort complex in Quang Nam

Recently, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province has sent a document to the Department of Planning and Investment (MPI), the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks, the People’s Committee of Nui Thanh District and Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company about the study. Research and propose investment in Long Thanh Tay tourist and resort complex project in Tam Hai commune, Nui Thanh district.

Accordingly, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province assigned the People’s Committee of Nui Thanh district, based on the list of investment research projects in the province in the second phase of 2022, approved by the Provincial People’s Committee and directed by the Provincial People’s Committee to coordinate with other agencies. Relevant agencies and units complete dossiers and procedures, organize the selection of investors to implement the project of Long Thanh Tay tourist and resort complex, Tam Hai commune in accordance with regulations.

Simultaneously, the Department of Planning and Investment shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks, relevant departments, branches, localities and units to monitor, urge and guide the People’s Committee of Nui Thanh district to implement the measures. documents, procedures and advise the Provincial People’s Committee to settle relevant contents in accordance with regulations.

In February 2022, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh signed a decision approving the list of research projects and investment proposals in the province for the second phase of 2022 with 5 investment projects. In which, 1 project is in the field of agriculture; 1 project is in the field of industrial cluster infrastructure; 1 project is in the field of trade – service and 2 other projects.

Notably, in the field of trade – service, there is only one project that has been researched and proposed for investment, which is Long Thanh Tay Tourism and Resort Complex with a research area of ​​32ha, including the entire Long Thanh Tay island area.

In February 2022, during a meeting at Tam Hai island commune (Nui Thanh district), Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee said that in the near future, Quang Nam province will assign Nui Thanh district to calculate and relocate Long Thanh Tay people come to the mainland so they can have a better new life.
