The bodies of two children were picked up from the canal in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City

The two children’s families could not see their children and grandchildren, so they went to find them, then their bodies were found in a canal in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

On the evening of May 9, the authorities of District 12 (HCMC) said that the bodies of two dead children had been recovered from the canal on TX33, Thanh Xuan ward (district 12).

The victim was identified as a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl as siblings. According to initial information, in the afternoon of the same day, the grandmother did not see the two grandchildren, so she went to look for them.

Where the incident happened

“Due to the suspicion that the two children fell into the canal, the family and neighbors organized a search. After that, people found the two children’s bodies in the canal. The incident made many people sad” – a witness said. .

People in the area said that the section of the canal near the house of the two children was missing a handrail of about 3m, so people suspected that the children had slipped into the canal and died.
