The Ministry of Education and Training organizes the evaluation of textbooks for grades 8 and 11

Accordingly, organizations and individuals requesting appraisal textbook need to register the number and name of the textbook sample of the subjects and educational activities of grade 8, grade 11 compiled according to the 2018 General Education Program on the Ministry of Education and Training before today (October 10). 5).

The number of registered textbook samples of each subject or educational activity is the basis for the Ministry of Education and Training to receive the application for evaluation of textbook samples.

Dossier of application for appraisal of textbooks shall comply with the provisions of Article 17, Circular 33 and Circular 05. In which, the number of book samples; explanation of the textbook template proposed for appraisal (title of the textbook; assignment of duties and responsibilities of the editor-in-chief, editor, if the book has a chief editor, editor, or author; purpose of compilation; purpose of compilation) , object and scope of use; structure, content; report on experimental process and results; report on organization of opinion collection and absorption of comments and evaluation of teacher’s textbook templates faculty, scientists, educators; program distribution for each textbook sample) as follows:

For grade 8, corresponding to each sample textbook of each subject: Math, Literature, English: 20 sets; Natural Sciences, History and Geography: 25 volumes; remaining subjects and educational activities: 15 sets.

For grade 11, corresponding to each sample textbook of each subject, educational activity: Math, Literature, English, Experiential and career-oriented activities: 20 sets; remaining subjects: 15 sets.

Time to receive applications, for class 8, from 10 to 15.07.2022 during office hours. For grade 11, from July 25 to 30, 2022 during office hours (organizations and individuals can submit application for assessment of grade 11 textbooks at the same time as grade 8). If the application is sent by post, the time is calculated according to the date of the postmark stamped on the parcel.

According to the roadmap, new 8th and 11th grade textbooks will be introduced into the General Education Program from the school year 2023-2024.
