Vietnam 3×3 basketball team has perfect momentum ahead of SEA Games 31

Coach Matt van Pelt’s students are one of the teams participating in Stage 2 VBA 3×3 including 8 professional men’s teams and 7 U20 men’s teams. The Vietnamese team has 4 familiar names: Chris Dierker, Tam Dinh, Tran Dang Khoa and Justin Young. These are also the players who won the bronze medal in the 3×3 basketball content at the 30th SEA Games.

The Vietnamese team won 3rd place at the second stage of VBA 3×3 after losing to Thang Long Warriors and winning against Danang Dragons. Coach Matt van Pelt’s students also won the right to enter the Grand Final and won the final championship after defeating Thang Long Warriors with a 19-14 victory. This is an important and quality preparation for the Vietnamese 3×3 basketball team before the 31st SEA Games.

In the U20 content, the champion is the young players Nha Trang Dolphins. In addition, the organizers also have a sub-competition, which is Dunk Contest for athletes with beautiful dunks.
