A series of key traffic projects are promoted in Binh Duong

At the April regular meeting of Binh Duong province, local leaders approved the plan to deploy key traffic works for the period of 2021 – 2025. Accordingly, Binh Duong focused on investment in construction, upgrading, widen National Highway 13, My Phuoc – Tan Van – Bau Bang roads.

The province also plans to upgrade DT.743 from Ong Cu Temple to Song Than overpass; underpass at the intersection of 5 Phuoc Kien intersection; the project to create landscape, prevent traffic jams on the route My Phuoc – Tan Van, DT. 746, Tel.747B. Tel.743.

A series of roads were built such as Thu Bien – Dat Cuoc; North Tan Uyen – Phu Giao, Bau Bang power generation road; road from Song Than overpass to Pham Van Dong street (HCMC). Especially, the system of Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4 section through Binh Duong province will also be promoted.

With Ring 3, the People’s Council of Binh Duong province has approved a commitment to allocate 50% of the province’s budget capital of the total investment of component projects through the area. In case the project is adjusted to the total investment, Binh Duong commits to allocate capital from the provincial budget with the increased capital in accordance with regulations. According to the plan, Binh Duong’s budget for the project is about 9,460 billion VND, while Ho Chi Minh City is 24,010 billion VND, Dong Nai is 1,934 billion VND and Long An is 1,052 billion VND. Most recently, at the end of April, the province coordinated With the investor – Becamex IDC Corporation and the authorities have started the project of upgrading and expanding National Highway 13, from the border of Ho Chi Minh City to Thu Dau Mot City. The route length is about 12.7 km, expanding from 6 lanes to 8 lanes. The project has a total investment of 1,367 billion VND, continues to be implemented in the form of BOT (build – operate – transfer).

The Ring 4 project is 200 km long, passing through Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and Long An. Estimated total investment is about 100,000 billion VND. The route is from 6 to 8 lanes wide, the first point intersects with Bien Hoa – Vung Tau highway, the end point is at Hiep Phuoc port, Ho Chi Minh City. Up to now, this road section in Binh Duong has been completed over 20 km with the local budget.
