Disseminating pictures of plane crashes causing panic among guests, Israel arrested 9 people

Israel Airport Authority spokesman Ofer Lefler said he was confident that police and security forces would find out what caused these people to act like this.

Passengers on the flight when receiving the picture plane crash informed the crew and pilot of the decision to return the aircraft to the starting point.

The incident caused one woman to faint and another to have a panic attack. The Israeli police said that nine Israeli suspects on the plane used the AirDrop function of the iPhone to distribute the above images.

The nine people were later removed from the plane and potentially charged with spreading false information. In Israel, the maximum penalty for this crime is three years in prison.

The AnadoluJet plane then took off as scheduled for Turkey after hours of security checks.
