Thus, the certificates of the three countries mentioned above will be connected to the EU system and the EU will accept the COVID-19 certificates of these countries with the same conditions as the COVID-19 digital certificates. of blocks.
Certificate holders issued by Vietnam, Indonesia and the Seychelles will be able to use them under the same conditions as EU COVID-19 digital certificate holders.
In addition, Vietnam and the two countries mentioned above have also agreed to accept the EU’s digital certificate on COVID-19 issued to citizens upon entry.
According to European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders, with the accession of Vietnam, Indonesia and the Seychelles, the number of countries and territories connected to the EU’s digital certificate system has increased to 67.
An EU certificate will make it easier for Europeans to travel within the EU and in many other countries.
The EC’s decision will take effect from 11 May.
