Gasoline price increased to the highest level in history, nearly touching the mark of 30,000 VND/liter

The Inter-Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance decided to increase gasoline prices in the operating period on 11/5. Accordingly, the domestic gasoline price from 15:00 on May 11, per liter of RON 95 gasoline increased by 1,550, bringing the price of RON 95 gasoline to nearly 30,000 VND / liter.

According to data of the Ministry of Industry and Trade updated to May 6, the price of finished gasoline on the Singapore market tends to increase.

RON 92 gasoline (used to make E5 RON 92 gasoline) has an average price in the new cycle of 138 USD/barrel. And RON 95 gasoline is about 141 USD/barrel. Meanwhile, diesel has surpassed the $156/barrel mark, kerosene has approached the $150/barrel mark.

Gasoline prices in Vietnam

Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline is 28,950 VND/liter, an increase of 1,490 VND/liter compared to the previous operating period.

The price of RON95 gasoline is 29,980 VND/liter, an increase of 1,550 VND/liter. This is the highest price of RON95 gasoline ever.

Kerosene is 25,160 VND per liter, up 1,340 VND. Diesel oil is 26,650 VND per liter, up 1,120 VND. Particularly madut oil kept its selling price at 21,560 VND per kg.

The executive agency continues to not spend the stabilization fund for gasoline and diesel products. Fund expenditure for kerosene increased to 300 dong per liter (last period was 0 dong), madut oil was 33 dong (previous period was 0 dong). The level of stable fund deduction for RON95 gasoline, E5 RON92 gasoline and diesel oil is 100 VND per liter. Kerosene, madut oil are not deducted from the fund.

This is the third increase in a row. Generally, in the first 4 months of the year, gasoline prices have increased 8 times and decreased 3 times.
