The flagship smartphone Xperia 1 IV will be introduced by Sony this week but almost all the information about the device has already surfaced.

Sony Xperia 1 IV is a high-end smartphone with a flat screen design as well as a flat frame around the case to give it a somewhat similar look to today’s iPhones. The phone has a rather thick bottom bezel, while the bezel on the screen is also noticeable.

According to the leaked information, the Xperia 1 IV will retain the triple camera setup on the back with a supporting Zeiss lens. Sony describes its smartphone as “the next generation of Xperia for content creators”. According to official information, this high-end phone will make a breakthrough in the field of photography.

The main camera of Xperia 1 IV will be equipped with a 48 MP image sensor of 1/1.28 inch size and 1.22 micron pixel size. This main camera supports optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone also has an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens.

The Xperia 1 IV will come with a fingerprint scanner on the right side. Meanwhile, the 6.5-inch screen offers a 21: 9 display ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and supports HDR.

Sony Xperia 1 IV is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB internal memory. The report shows that the device also comes with a large 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The phone uses a standard USB-C charging port, runs Android 12 operating system and meets IP68 protection level for water and dust resistance.

Finally, Xperia 1 IV will be available in Black, Purple and White color options with a selling price of EUR 1,400 (VND 33.92 million) when it hits shelves. Sony will announce the product on May 11 along with the mid-range Xperia 10 IV model.
