Many people were quite upset when they saw a 3rd grader in Nghe An suspected of being beaten by his teacher, leading to bruises because he couldn’t do his homework.
On the morning of May 11, Ms. Tran Thi P. (SN 1994, living in hamlet 5, Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An) shared that her child is Nguyen Thi Thu Ph. (student of grade 3H, Dien Yen Primary School 1), suffering from teacher hit the back of the shoulder blade, the back leads to bruising.
Ms. P. said that on the afternoon of May 10, while taking her children to take a bath, she discovered that there were many bruises on her back and shoulders…
Reply Dan Tri, Ms. P said: “Last afternoon (May 10), she came home from school complaining of pain, but did not tell her mother that she beat her. In the evening, I took her to the bathroom to panic when I saw many scars on her shoulder and back. I asked her why she was beaten. She said she couldn’t do her homework, so she beat her. Then I reported the incident to the school principal. Last night (May 10) , the principal, the homeroom teacher also came to my house to apologize.”
According to Ms. P., the person who beat her child was Ms. TTHM – the homeroom teacher of class 3H.
“This morning (May 11), I am taking my child to a hospital in Vinh city for an examination. And the school side had an appointment with me to come up to work but couldn’t get up …”, Ms. P. added.
Regarding the above incident, Dien Yen 1 Primary School and Dien Chau District Education and Training Department are verifying and clarifying.
