Things to keep in mind when applying for university admission

According to the draft regulation University enrollment 2022, candidates will apply for admission to the University after having their high school graduation exam scores. This registration can only be done once and cannot be changed.

In order to avoid being passive and opening the door to the University lecture hall, most candidates apply for admission by various methods such as results. aptitude test, by academic records, by high school graduation exam results. Either way, it is mandatory to register information on the Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training. As for the method of admission by means of the results of the competency assessment test or the academic records, it is necessary to complete 2 steps: register for admission at the school and re-register the information on the portal of the Ministry.

This year, for the first time, the Ministry of Education and Training will apply common virtual filtering to all enrollment methods. For candidates participating in multiple entrance examinations, registration information must be identical. Because candidates can only apply for admission once, so even if they can apply for admission after having the results of the high school graduation exam, candidates still need to have a specific strategy.

To make the right decision, it is recommended that candidates refer to the benchmarks of their favorite industry or school from previous years. When applying for admission online, candidates need to record their information, password and keep it confidential because it can only be done once and cannot be modified.

This year, the university admissions work is basically stable like last year, only some technical factors are adjusted and there are 3 new points that candidates need to note:

+ Candidates register for admission online on the admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training. This helps the system to filter virtual candidates better than before.

+ Candidates will apply for admission for all aspirations to schools and majors on this system, including aspirations based on test scores, aspirations through academic records and other forms.

+ After completing the high school graduation exam, students know their capabilities and have time to consider and adjust their aspirations to suit their capabilities before applying for online admission.
