Chilling scene of dump truck lying on the overpass after a traffic accident

Losing control on the Amata overpass (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai), the dump truck hit a series of dividers and then jumped out of the bridge about 7m above the ground.

At 1pm on 12/5, the city’s functional forces. Bien Hoa (Dong Nai province) is still dealing with the scene of a dump truck accident on the Amata overpass.

Before that, at noon on the same day, vans circulated on Highway 1 in the direction from Bien Hoa to Trang Bom district. When approaching the middle of the Amata overpass (in Bien Hoa City), the vehicle lost control and ran into the opposite lane with a series of concrete dividers. The dump truck continued to hit the iron bridge to stop.

Fortunately, the driver escaped from the cabin lying on the bridge, about 7m above the ground.

At the scene, a series of concrete dividers were knocked over and broken.

“While I was moving, I saw that the van ahead showed signs of losing control, so I quickly stopped the motorbike. A few seconds later, we saw the dump truck hit the divider and then ran across the road and hit the bridge. Fortunately, only the cabin part of the car was lying in the air, while the entire rear of the car was on the bridge, so there were no unfortunate consequences,” a male witness named Linh said.

Immediately after the accident, functional forces were present to blockade the scene, regulate traffic through the overpass as well as investigate the cause of the accident.
