The 33-year-old actress said, at the 2015 Deauville American Film Festival to lose the lead role in The Lobster was a heartbreak, because she signed an exclusive film contract with Marvel.

“I was starting to feel frustrated. I had a secure job but lost the pieces that felt like a part of who I was. The further I drifted away from that, the less I had. chance of finding that piece of the puzzle again,” Olsen said.

Elizabeth Olsen has been more well received by audiences in the MCU lately, especially thanks to her lead role in WandaVision. Olsen said that she loves this character so much that she will star in a separate movie about Scarlet Witch.
