Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a camera up to 200MP?

According to Korea’s ETNews, the product Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to be announced in early 2023.

Many information said that the Galaxy S23 Ultra may be equipped with a 200MP camera. If the above information is confirmed, Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the first smartphone with the largest sensor compared to any other device.

Earlier, the Korean tech giant launched a 108MP camera sensor on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. On the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the main camera takes 12-megapixel photos by default, with a toggle available in the camera app for 108-megapixel photos. The default setting is ideal for most users because high-resolution photos can have very large file sizes.

iPhone 14 Pro models can also use pixel binning. In a research report released last year, technology analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the iPhone 14 Pro models can support both 48-megapixel and 12-megapixel outputs. Expert Ming-Chi Kuo also said that the 48-megapixel camera will allow iPhone 14 Pro models to support 8K video recording, up from the current 4K.
