Google launched a smartphone with good configuration, cheap price, and decided to fight iPhone SE-Hi-tech fashion

Google has announced the Pixel 6a, the affordable model of the Pixel 6 family that costs just $449 as the previous-generation Pixel 5a.

Pixel 6a is a smartphone with a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 60 Hz lower than the 90 Hz of the Pixel 6 and 120 Hz of the Pixel 6 Pro. Even so, the design of the phone is quite similar to the two previous Pixel 6 phones with aluminum frames.

However, the front glass of the phone has been downgraded from Gorilla Glass Victus to Gorilla Glass 3, and the back is made of plastic. Pixel 6a also only meets IP67 standard instead of IP68 on the other two products.

Regarding the internal hardware configuration, Pixel 6a comes with a chip Google Tensor is like the other two Pixel 6 phones and has a Titan M2 security chip that helps protect the data inside. The phone also has a configuration of 6 GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 128 GB of internal memory in UFS 3.1 format.

On the back of the Pixel 6a is the appearance of a 12.2 MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera is the same as the other two Pixel 6 phones. On the front is an 8MP f/2.0 camera for selfies like on the smaller Pixel 6.

Other Pixel 6a features include 5G connectivity, an always-on display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and HDR support. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 with a promise of 5 years of security updates.

The Pixel 6a has a smaller 4,410 mAh battery, but Google claims it can last 24 hours for regular use and up to 72 hours with the new Extreme Battery Saver mode enabled. Although it supports 18W USB-PD fast charging, the Pixel 6a does not support wireless charging.

Finally, Pixel 6a will have three color options, including Chalk, Charcoal and Sage. The product will begin accepting orders on July 21 and will be available for purchase on July 28. The device will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and the US.
