Through the National Assembly deputies, Mr. Dan suggested that the National Assembly soon amend the Land Law in order to use land for the right purposes and effectively, and overcome corruption and negativity about land, causing frustration among the people.
No one can stay out of the law
Speaking at the meeting, about the proposal to soon amend the Land Law, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said, this idea is very correct and won. At the recent 5th Plenum of the Central Committee, the number one issue was about land.

The Central Government decided on the basis of this new Resolution, the National Assembly must study and amend the Land Law to maximize the country’s potential and strengths.
The General Secretary said that, contacting the capital, the land is more precious, the people are crowded, the land is narrow, so the leaders of Hanoi need to pay more attention to the issue of land, “an inch of land, an inch of gold”.
However, according to the General Secretary, how to fix to promote the strengths of the land is difficult and not simple, it has to be researched and summarized with a strategic but practical, daily basis. Both theoretical and practical, must ensure the lives of the people, but must be for the benefit of the nation, the nation. This is a matter of gradual, gradual improvement.
Regarding the fight against corruption and negativity, the General Secretary shared that this has been said and done for a long time, but the results have not been as expected.

The General Secretary expressed that there are many negatives, but the focus is on the deterioration in ideology, politics, morality, lifestyle, which damages people and this is a very new thing.
“Deterioration of ideals and morality, thinking about individualism in whatever you do, then complicity with each other, stealing from the state, that is negative. Degradation in quality, hooking up with bad elements, not brave enough to be manipulated, “emphasized the General Secretary.
He said, how many people went to prison and were handled before only at the central level, now expanded to set up a Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-corruption at the provincial level, this is to warn Provincial leaders must pay attention, no one can stand outside the law.
Given the numbers of investigations, prosecutions and disciplinary actions from the beginning of 2022 to the present, the General Secretary affirmed that we have directed aggressively, decisively, handled and investigated outstanding cases. Mentally clear where to do it, now continue to do.

The Party General Secretary also informed that the Central Committee has voted to establish a Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-corruption at the provincial level. In the near future, there will be guidelines and working regulations, especially the selection of personnel.
“The cadres who come here to fight corruption are self-sufficient. If they get caught up in corruption, who else will they fight. Any cadres who get involved here, I will deal with them first, frankly, that’s how it is,” noted the General Secretary.
