In addition, the event also received the consent and attendance of leaders of representative offices of co-hosted universities, experts and leading enterprises in the fields of finance, financial technology, innovation. Creating, digital transformation, press agencies and media conferences have recorded the participation of more than 500 students from universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

Along with that, thousands of students from all over the country participated in watching the livestream and information on social networking sites about the contest as well as the series of seminars. The seminar revolved around what is Fintech, future Fintech trends, experience sharing to create motivation from successful startups/enterprises in the Fintech field and information about Finnovation 2022.

About Finnovation 2022

Finnovation is the first and largest national and periodical competition for innovative startups in the field of financial technology (Fintech) directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. , National University of Ho Chi Minh City. Finnovation 2022 is held with three main rounds: Preliminary, Training and Final, which will take place from April 18, 2022 to August 12, 2022. The contest is also a project to respond to the Program “Bringing the wings of students to start-ups” launched by the Central Vietnam Student Association with the aim of: Building a creative startup ecosystem “Finnovation” with multi-field on an international scale, taking technology and innovation as the means, taking the young force and students as the core, taking the interests of the community and society as the creative orientation; Building, expanding and developing the Fintech sector to become a competitive advantage of Vietnam in the digital economy, contributing to making Vietnam a regional creative financial center; Pioneering in launching, connecting and promoting the national-scale innovation startup ecosystem to connect internationally; Leading the research and development activities of entrepreneurship as well as the entrepreneurial spirit of young people, especially the school sector, students; Creating “Sandbox”, a place to test and develop new products, new solutions, new markets, establish start-up centers at universities and colleges; creating start-up companies (Spin off), young international startups.

The seminar ended with valuable and practical information from the speakers who answered many questions from the participating students.
