Many officials in Phu Yen were disciplined

The information is stated in the announcement of the results of the 10th meeting of the Inspection Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, on the afternoon of May 11.

Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, former member of the Standing Committee of Tuy Hoa City Party Committee (term 2010-2015), former vice chairman of Tuy Hoa City People’s Committee, was disciplined and reprimanded. Mr. Tu, when working as vice president of the city, lacked inspection, let the consulting agency sign the real estate documents in contravention of regulations, but later recovered and remedied the consequences.

Mr. Phan Cong Trinh, district member, Vice Chairman of Tay Hoa district People’s Committee, former secretary of the Party Committee of Son Thanh Tay commune (period 2017-2020), was also disciplined and reprimanded. During the time holding the position of commune leader, Mr. Trinh and the Commune Party Committee let loose leadership, lack of inspection and supervision, causing a serious deforestation in sub-zone 358. Many violators, including officials Ministry of Commune and Forestry was sentenced to prison.

The Inspection Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee disciplined and warned Mr. Nguyen Hung Quan, Chairman of the Tuy Hoa City Farmers’ Association, former Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tuy Hoa City. During his time as Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tuy Hoa City, Mr. Quan lacked inspection and appraisal of documents, directly signing and granting real estate documents in contravention of regulations. This leads to many cadres and party members being disciplined and imprisoned.
