MU leads the race to sign Pau Torres

The Spanish media reported, MU currently leading the race to sign midfielder Pau Torres.

According to TodoFichajes, MU has been actively negotiating with Villarreal in the past few days, since the “Golden Submarine” stopped in the Champions League semi-finals.

MU believes Villarreal will have to sell the star this summer because of not attending the Champions League next season. Therefore, the Red Devils do not stop questioning the transfer of Pau Torres.

Pau Torres used to play as a midfielder when he was young, before stepping down to become a central defender. He is appreciated for his ability to deploy the ball from behind, an element that Erik ten Hag loves in building tactics.

MU is discussing a transfer fee of 50 million euros (£43 million), 15 million euros less than the release clause in Pau Torres’ contract with Villarreal.

Barca competes for Kounde .’s signature

Barcelona are making the future of Jules Kounde more unpredictable when constantly approaching the French and Sevilla midfielder in recent days.

Before that, Kounde was said to be close to Chelsea when he himself enjoyed working with coach Thomas Tuchel.

Fichajes quoted a pro-Barca source as revealing, President Joan Laporta has just had a meeting with sports officials and Kounde is at the top of the list of additional targets for the Catalan giants’ defense.

Barca’s squad is currently unstable and the defense is limited. Therefore, President Laporta wants to satisfy coach Xavi Hernandez with a contract with Kounde.

Kounde’s contract with Sevilla has a release clause of 90 million euros. Barca believes 75 million euros is a reasonable fee for this 23-year-old player.

Bayern Munich want to take Mazraoui

Bayern Munich is likely to beat rival Barcelona to have right-back Noussair Mazraoui, in the form of free transfer this summer.

Despite winning the Bundesliga title for the 10th time in a row, the 2021-22 season was not really successful for Bayern Munich. The Bavarian club stopped in the quarterfinals of the Champions League when losing to Villarreal.

Bayern Munich need to strengthen human resource solutions. Mazraoui is the one chosen to strengthen the right corridor.

Mazraoui is like another version of Joshua Kimmich. The 24-year-old Moroccan player (with Dutch nationality) plays well at right-back and central midfield.

Mazraoui’s contract expired on June 30 and he decided to leave Ajax. Bayern Munich are ending negotiations with him about a contract until 2026.
