We did our best, inviting the whole Ministry of Public Security to return, not just the province. When the official results are available, the province will notify,” Colonel Truong said.

Colonel Truong also added that the fifth person did not eat with his family, but death was also a bottleneck that until now the functional forces had not clarified.

Previously, at noon on December 26, the family of Mr. NVS (in Lai Ha Trung village, living in Hung An commune, Kim Dong district) invited their children and grandchildren to play and have lunch. The luncheon had 9 people, including Mr. S. and his wife and the family of 2 daughters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuoi and Nguyen Thi Tinh.

After lunch, both families and daughters went home to Duyen Yen village (Ngoc Thanh commune) and Vinh Dong village (Dong Thanh commune, Kim Dong district).

By the evening of the same day, NVHN (Sister Tuoi’s child) and PTAB (Miss Tinh’s child) had abdominal pain, vomiting and died at home. After that, Ms. Tuoi and Ms. Tinh also had symptoms of abdominal pain, nausea and were taken to an intensive care unit at a hospital in Hanoi, but both did not survive.

Not stopping, after 20 days in a coma, NVD (her husband Tuoi) died. It is worth mentioning that Mr. D. did not attend the meal on December 26, but also had similar symptoms.
