Accordingly, at about 8:30 a.m. this morning (May 11), while playing, some 7th grade students at Ky Son Secondary School discovered a large snake caught in a net around the school’s gymnasium.

Immediately after that, school leaders, teachers and students quickly caught the snake and called the authorities.

The snake was discovered crawling into the school

Through inspection, initially identified the above snake as a king cobra, a black snake body, more than 3m long, weighing 2.6kg.

“After detecting and catching the snake, we coordinated with the functional forces to hand over Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) to continue taking care of it,” said Mr. Ngoc.

Currently, Vu Quang National Park is continuing to monitor, care for, and then release the king cobra to the natural environment.
