The film was judged as a failure in the plot, script, weak effects, poor graphic background and bad character creation, especially the main character Sun Wukong. Wukong Chi Little Saint Story tells the story of Ton Tieu Thanh – the newly appointed Marquis of America (Vuong Ninh), and his brother Kim Tieu Bang (Vuong Luong), who are experts in catching demons and eliminating ghosts. Their brotherhood was broken when Tieu Bang revealed his true identity as the son of the demon king, came to earth to spread disaster and avenge his father. The feud of Tieu Bang’s father was originally a grudge caused by Ton Ngo Khong and Ton Tieu Thanh had to resolve this enmity.
