The 31st SEA Games in Vietnam is a tournament connecting the friendship bridge and tightening the solidarity of Southeast Asian countries in the context of the global crisis because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The message “For a stronger South East Asia” will be clearly expressed in the Opening Ceremony, through symbolic, interactive, popular and unique art forms. .

The Vietnamese sports delegation attended the 31st SEA Games with 1,341 members, competing in 40 subjects, with 526 contents, aiming to achieve 140 gold medals or more, entering the top group among the participating countries. In which, Hanoi has 67 coaches and 303 athletes convened in national sports teams. Hanoi strives to contribute one third of the medals of the Vietnam Sports Delegation at the 31st SEA Games.
