VN-Index reversed and gained more than 1,300 points

In the afternoon session, real estate stocks suddenly attracted cash flow and gained strongly; in which, stocks CEO, DIG, LDG, FID, NBB, HDC, NVT, CCL were all pulled to the ceiling price. Besides, FLC, VRE, DXG, VHM… also gained positively. ROS increased all the way to 5,160 dong when a new major shareholder appeared. In addition, ART increased to the ceiling by 10%.

Banking group, after cooling down in the morning session, recovered strongly at the end of the session, CTG, VIB, ACB, MBB, BID, VPB… dyed green, thereby reducing the pressure on the overall market from morning session.

Notably, the oil and gas group continued the impressive recovery momentum from yesterday (May 10), stocks remained in green until the end of the session. Most of the stocks gained from the first minutes of trading such as PTV, PVC, OIL, PVS, BSR, PVB, POS.

Meanwhile, industry groups that have gained well in the previous period such as seaports include HAH, VSC, VOS; aquatic products include VHC, ANV, ACL, IDI; Insurance including BVH, MIG, BIC, BMI showed signs of recovery at the end of the session, but in general, stocks still closed at the red price.

For blue-chips, the VN30 basket recorded a somewhat divergent movement with 16 gainers; In which, there are prominently FPT, GAS, KDH, MWG, PNJ or a trio of Vin stocks including VIC, VHM, VRE…

On the other side, 13 decliners such as VNM, VJC, BVH, GVR, HPG, MSN, PLX narrowed the market’s gain.

Masan Group’s MSN was the one that had the most negative impact on the market as it dropped 3.6% to VND111,900. Next, Vinamilk’s VNM lost 1.6% to 69,500 dong and Hoa Phat’s HPG fell 1.1% to 40,650 dong.

In this session, foreign investors turned to negative trade in the gaining session. They bought 1,286 billion and sold 1,367 billion, equivalent to a net sale 82 billion VND on HOSE. The most sold stocks were VNM and fund certificates FUEVFVND.

Closing session on 11/5, VN-Index increased 7.97 points to 1,301.53 points. The whole floor had 294 gainers, 143 losers and 50 standstill stocks.

HNX-Index increased 3.02 points to 333.04 points. There were 144 gainers, 66 losers and 45 standstill stocks on the whole floor. UPCoM-Index decreased 0.27 points to 98.79 points.

Market liquidity dropped sharply, with the total matching value of the whole market reaching only VND 13,016 billion; in which, the matching value on HOSE alone reached 11,529 billion dong.
