Bring Argentina closer to Vietnam

Within the framework of the good relationship between Argentina and Vietnam, which has become more prominent since the two countries established the Comprehensive Partnership in 2010 and on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations, Argentina Week in Hanoi will take place from May 23 to 28, including three main activities.

The goal of the series of events is to continue to bring Argentina closer to the country and the people of Vietnam through political, commercial and cultural dialogue.

Wine and Beef Festival

Argentina Week in Hanoi begins with the event “Argentine Beef and Wine Festival” on May 23.

The Argentinian Beef and Wine Festival is an event promoting Argentine cuisine. This is an opportunity for guests to enjoy typical Argentinean dishes.

The event will have the participation of businesses in the fields such as hotels, restaurants, retailers, importers and distributors of food… and some famous guests in Hanoi and the local community. foreign.

Argentina’s National Day

On May 25, the Argentine Embassy will celebrate the 212th anniversary of the May Revolution, a pivotal moment in the history of Argentina’s struggle for freedom associated with the founding of the Primera Junta (First Council). – the first people’s government, on May 25, 1810.

The National Day celebration will be held at the Private House of the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina with the participation of Vietnamese Government agencies, diplomatic missions, and local individuals and friends.

Tango Dance and Food Festival

The closing event of the “7th Argentinian Week in Hanoi” will be the Tango and Argentinian Cuisine Festival taking place on May 28 at Octagon House, Ly Thai To Garden, Hoan Kiem District.

The Argentine Tango and Cuisine event will be an outdoor festival with the main highlights being performances and dance classes conducted by Tango clubs in Hanoi such as: “Tango Hanoi”, “Tango Hanoi”, El Cielo Tango” and “La Boca Tango”. Throughout the night were Tango performances interspersed with basic Tango dance lessons for the public.

Around the Octagon house, Ly Thai To flower garden will have stalls introducing traditional products and Argentinian cuisine.

The Argentine Embassy’s booth will display and introduce tourist information images about the natural and cultural beauties that the public can find in this South American country.
