Accordingly, after the fatal crash, Mr. Nam drove a Mercedes with license plate number 30F-168.65 to leave the scene and enter Ho Chi Minh City. After hours of campaigning, on the afternoon of May 12, Mr. Nam went to Phan Thiet City Police to surrender.

At the police station, Nam confessed that on the evening of May 11, he went with a group of 3 friends to a pub in Phu Thuy ward, Phan Thiet city. At about 0:15 on May 12, after drinking, this group continued to the embankment area of ​​Pham Van Dong to eat late at night.

When they reached Pham Van Dong street, the group’s car almost had a traffic collision with a motorbike. Seeing that there was no accident, Mr. Nam’s group continued to move, but as soon as they arrived at the pub, they were chased by the motorbike group to use cups and buckets of ice to beat Nam’s group.

Annoyed, Nam got into a car to drive many rounds and crashed into a group of motorbike riders. After turning many times, the car hit Mr. Ha Xuan Hai, causing him to collapse on the spot. The victim was then taken to the hospital, but died.

The case is continuing to be investigated and clarified by the Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
