Myanmar Women’s Futsal Team is present in Vietnam

Under the leadership of head coach Tin Maung Htay, the Myanmar Women’s Futsal team brought to Vietnam 16 players in accordance with the registration regulations of the Southeast Asian Games. The Myanmar Women’s Team has also prepared carefully, saying that the whole team is ready to compete with the Women’s Futsal teams in the region.

After arriving at Noi Bai airport, completing immigration procedures and collecting luggage, the whole team continued to be supported by representatives of the local Organizing Committee (Ha Nam province) to move to the bus to move back to the hotel. Muong Thanh, where the Men’s and Women’s Futsal teams are stationed. While the Malaysia and Thailand Women’s Futsal teams both arrived 5 days early, the Myanmar Women’s team arrived 1 day early to have more time to rest and settle down before entering the women’s futsal sport.

Members of the Myanmar Women’s Futsal Team were welcomed by the local Organizing Committee as soon as they arrived at Muong Thanh Ha Nam Hotel.

According to the plan, head coach Tin Maung Htay and the players will have an official training session arranged by the organizers tomorrow afternoon (May 13) at Ha Nam Gymnasium from 17:30 to 18:30. Earlier on the same day, the three female Futsal teams Thailand, Malaysia and host Vietnam will also have an official practice session to get acquainted with the field.

The Myanmar Women’s Futsal team will be the first opponent of the host Vietnam in the opening match taking place at 4pm on April 15. The next opponents of the Myanmar Women’s team are Thailand and Malaysia, respectively, on May 15 and 17.
