According to KCNA, since the end of April, a fever of unknown cause has “exploded” across the country, affecting 350,000 people. KCNA added, 162,200 people have been fully treated so far.

“On May 12 alone, about 18,000 people had a fever across the country and up to now, up to 187,800 people are being isolated and treated,” KCNA said.
