The police executed the arrest warrant for 6 people, including the two leading suspects, Bui Thanh Phuc (18 years old, living in Man Thai ward, Son Tra district) and Tran Minh Toan (17 years old, living in Hoa An ward, Cam Le district). ).

According to the initial investigation, in early May, Phuc and Toan commented back and forth on social networks and there was a conflict. The two challenged each other to meet “blood battle”.

Then, Phuc through a closed group on the social network Facebook called “Brother Man Thai” to call and gather more teenagers to join the fight. This young man mobilized about 20 people, and prepared petrol bombs and weapons.

As for Toan, he also invited more accomplices, prepared weapons and petrol bombs.

At dawn on May 7, Toan and Phuc’s group arrived at the meeting point in front of Bien Lon restaurant on Vo Nguyen Giap street (Man Thai ward).

Here, the two groups rushed into a scuffle, throwing petrol bombs to frighten passersby, and many cars in traffic had to stop.

At this time, the police on duty nearby received information immediately to the scene. Seeing the police, the subjects in the two groups dropped their weapons and ran away.
