Vietnam Farmers Association cooperates with PVI Insurance

PVI Insurance and Vietnam Farmers’ Union implemented a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the “Program on social security and welfare for members and farmers”.

Pursuant to the cooperation agreement dated March 18, 2022, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union and PVI Insurance Corporation jointly organized a National Conference to thoroughly grasp the Cooperation Agreement and discuss the Agreement’s implementation plan. 2022 and the following years. The conference was simultaneously deployed online in 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

The conference presented the content of the Cooperation Agreement and the draft implementation plan for 2022 and the orientation for the next years, guiding the process and how to implement the plan. Accordingly, the two sides will coordinate, propagate, introduce and provide officials, members and farmers with non-life insurance products (including voluntary and compulsory insurance products) such as: Health care insurance, Borrower’s health insurance, Accident and sickness insurance, Auto insurance, Motorcycle insurance, Construction insurance, Compulsory fire insurance, Property insurance with Preferential benefits and premium rates.

Through the Farmers’ Associations of provinces and cities across the country, PVI Insurance will also cooperate in training and developing a force of collaborators and sales agents, contributing to household economic development.

PVI Insurance is an important partner of large domestic and foreign corporations. With an extensive network of member companies and full utility services, PVI is also selected to cooperate with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Health Industry Union and hereby the Social Insurance. By the end of the first quarter of 2022, PVI’s total revenue reached VND 3,828 billion, completing 125.9% of the quarterly plan and 36% of the yearly plan, up 32.3% over the same period in 2021. In which, revenue Original insurance grew by 30.4%. Pre-tax profit reached nearly 213 billion dong, completing 159.7 percent of the quarter plan, up 24.1%.

The enterprise develops a nationwide retail system with 40 member units. PVI Insurance’s Northern and Southern Customer Care Centers are invested with advanced technology, modern equipment and professional staff.

PVI Insurance has been awarded the title of Hero of Labor by the State and the financial rating organization AM Best has rated financial capacity B++ (Good) for many years. Besides, there are awards such as Top 50 Excellent Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam voted by Vietnam Report; Vietnam’s Best Non-life Insurance Company 2021 and Vietnam’s Best Non-Life Insurance Company 2021 by International Finance Magazine.
