Vietnamese people close 104 online orders every year
DPD Group said this is more than double the average number of 66 orders a year, surveyed from 6 countries in Southeast Asia. The strong growth of e-commerce in Vietnam has contributed significantly to the economic recovery.
Online sales channels have been promoted indirectly during the period of isolation because of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam’s e-commerce revenue in 2021 is estimated at 13.7 billion USD, up 16% compared to 2020. This fact is the basis for experts to believe that the e-commerce market will continued to grow strongly this year, especially when logistics activities were almost back to normal compared to before the epidemic.

“We innovate in technology, in the way we sell, in our approach. We can’t just use the tool in a rudimentary way. There are a lot of companies that provide that solution, it’s a tool that helps professional salespeople. focus on producing and selling good products,” said Nguyen Ngoc Dung, chairman of the Vietnam E-commerce Association.
The Vietnam E-commerce Association believes that this new field still has a lot of room for domestic development and will grow strongly in the coming time.
According to a survey by Lazada, 81% of Vietnamese people when asked shared that online shopping is an indispensable daily habit in their lives.
