4 years, Quang Binh girl carries her friend to school

Appearing in the show The Kindness of Vietnam Television VTV, Pham Ngoc Tram and Nguyen Thi Trang were introduced as 2 4th grade students of Duy Ninh Primary School (Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province). During the past 4 years, Tram has always been Trang’s “foot” in every school day.

Trang was born into a poor family, her father is the main breadwinner in the house and her two older brothers and sisters are both going to school. From a young age, Trang’s legs atrophied, making it difficult for her to walk. To move, she has to use her knees on the sandals to move little by little. My body is also thin, smaller than my peers. With such an unhealthy body, Trang always dreamed of participating in recess like other classmates.

Every day, her mother took Trang to school but could not regularly take her to class. Therefore, Tram’s appearance is like a “fairy” to a small classmate. Page tells, “In grade 1, you didn’t have anyone to play because everyone was afraid of telling you that you couldn’t go, so they shunned them. I feel sorry for you Trang.”

Loving you, Tram took the initiative to accompany Trang, whispering, confiding and ready to be “the feet” of close friends. During the past 4 years, Tram has not only carried you to school, but also helped you move to special classrooms such as Tin and English in the lessons. Carrying you on her back, Tram also feels your weight as well as encourages you to eat more.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh, the homeroom teacher of the two children shared on The Journalist: “Friends and teachers all pay special attention to Trang, but the closest and closest is still Tram. I am also the school captain. Tram lives in harmony and loves you. In particular, whoever asked Trang, Tram still sobbed and shed tears first”.

Trang, thanks to the care of her close friend, is always at the top of her class in terms of achievements, regularly winning prizes in competitions such as English contests on the Internet or Poinsettia math. I always try to study well, write well, receive praise from teachers for both spirit and ability. Trang’s energy became a good example for other students in the school.

“You told him to eat more because he was too light. You said he could carry on as long as he studied well and tried his best to rise.”Trang honestly recounted. Moreover, thanks to Tram, Trang’s outings are all brought to the school yard, playing, swinging, chatting happily.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Mai Hong, Vice Principal of Duy Ninh Primary School shared: “All teachers in the school and students know Trang and give her a special affection. The teachers are always ready to help when Trang needs it. The school also creates conditions for organizations, individuals, and sponsors to help me.”
