The captain of the Vietnamese women’s futsal team Nguyen Thi Chau also expressed: “My goal as well as the whole team is to win a gold medal for the Vietnamese women’s futsal team. SEA Games 31 is at home, so the whole team is fully prepared and I don’t want to disappoint anyone. We try to do our best.”

Despite being a champion candidate, the team’s head coach Suraphong Thai futsal expressed modesty: “I think all teams have similar strength at SEA Games 31. Thailand is the defending champion but we do not underestimate anyone, I will analyze the opponent match by match. . We think that Vietnam is a very strong opponent because they have the home field advantage as well as a strong fan base. Thailand will try.”
Futsal Vietnam will play from tomorrow 15/5, the Vietnamese team will play the first match against Myanmar at 4 pm.
