Customers who buy Kia Carnival Royal need to deposit 300 million VND, wait until half a year

After more than 6 months since its launch, Kia showrooms have only recently started accepting deposits for Carnival Royal. To buy this model, customers will pre-order 200-300 million dong because the car is only produced by order, while the deposit for other popular cars is usually 10-20 million dong.

Introduced from October 2021, Kia Carnival Royal is a special premium version of the MPV Carnival model (formerly Kia Sedona). The price at the time of launch was VND 2,379 billion for the 4-seat version and VND 2,399 billion for the 7-seat version. However, now, the dealer updates the new price for Carnival Royal at VND 2,479 billion for the 4-seat version and VND 2,499 billion for the 6-seat version.

The appearance of the Carnival Royal is similar to the standard version, but the ceiling is raised by 205mm and has the version name attached to the rear of the car. “Measurements” long, wide, and high are 5,155 x 1,995 x 1,980 mm, respectively, 19-inch wheels. The engine on Carnival Royal is still a 2.2L diesel engine with a capacity of 199 horsepower and maximum torque of 440Nm, 8-speed automatic transmission.

The driving and safety features on the Royal version are similar to the Carnival Signature. The difference comes from the rear compartment with thick leather seats and textured stitching, with a pedestal. The chair has a massage function, and the recline can be adjusted according to many levels. The ceiling is covered with Alcantara with LED lights, wooden floors, and electric curtains.

The divider between the driver and the rear passenger is a wall with a TV hanging. In the “boss” position, you can adjust the passenger compartment lights, independent air conditioning, separate audio and talk feature to chat with the driver. The rear seats are all equipped with their own desks, and the car has a mini-fridge.

To own these differences, customers need to spend 1 billion more than the standard version.
