Russian officials visit Kherson region in Ukraine

Recently, there have been reports of high-ranking Russian officials visiting the war zone since Russia started its offensive. Ukraine on 2/24.

RIA reported that Deputy Speaker of the Russian lower house of parliament Kuznetsova discussed the provision of food and medical products that children here are in need of.

Ms. Kuznetsova was quoted as saying that “we are here to provide all kinds of help”.

RIA did not specify when Kuznetsova visited Kherson.

Russia gave the reason for its “special military operation” in Ukraine to disarm Ukraine and protect the Russian-speaking population from “fascist forces”. Meanwhile, Ukraine and the West consider it just a baseless excuse.
