The truth about the ‘alien doorframe’ on Mars

By page ScienceAlert on May 13, one of the images created by Curiosity rover above Mars sent back to earth shows a cliff with a gap identical to a door frame.

The image was taken by the Curiosity rover on May 7 in the Greenheugh rocky plains and was taken by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (USA).NASA) given later.

The image above has led to speculation about the possibility that it is a Martian shelter, or a gateway to an entirely different universe.

However, many have pointed out that it was a natural cut, as a result of pressure on the rock causing it to partially break, possibly due to an earthquake on Mars. In fact, the earthquake was recorded on this planet on 4/5 and scientists are studying the exact location of the earthquake and the cause.

Furthermore, what we see as an imaginary door frame may in fact be only a few centimeters tall, although it is hard to tell for sure from the photo.

Experts say that when detecting images that look like “alien” structures, it is important that we do not infer too much from the images that are not clear.

“This is a very curious image. But in short, it looks like natural erosion,” according to Live Science, citing British geologist Neil Hodgkins, who has studied geology on Mars.
