Marriage Story of the couple marriage Mr. Le Thanh Quy (born in 1952) and Ms. Leu Thi Van (born in 1958) make everyone who knows them admire and admire. Currently, the two grandparents are living in Kien Xuong town, Thai Binh.

Their story told by their daughter-in-law, Quach Thuong, makes people even more heartbroken and praised for a beautiful love story and iron heart.

Mr. Fund and Mrs. Van got to know each other in 1972 on an occasion when he was on leave and attended the celebration of December 22 in his hometown. At that time, he was a member of the 126th Commando Squadron of the Navy. Then he joined the heroic No. 641 train.

Returning to his hometown, he was impressed by Mrs. Van because she was a beauty, beautiful, and sang well. Therefore, Mr. Fund asked his cousin to introduce him to him. They fell in love with each other from the first time they met.

“The war was fierce, parents could only meet each other through letters or a few vacations. Tet in 1976, grandparents celebrated wedding when he was on leave for 4 days. On the 29th Tet holiday, when he returned from vacation, on the 30th Tet, he had an engagement ceremony. On the 2nd of Tet, the two families held a wedding ceremony and on the 3rd of Tet, he returned to the unit.”Thuong shared.

Her husband went to war, and Mrs. Van remained alone to continue her studies at the University of Architecture. Apart from each other, the two grandparents still corresponded, but in 1978, she was dumbfounded when she heard that he had died in a fierce battle.

“Mother said she was dumbfounded when she received the news about her father. She was in excruciating pain, did not dare to believe it was true. At that time, everyone encouraged her to try to overcome. Many people also told her to rest assured to continue studying. this time, because her mother is still too young. However, putting everything aside, she still hopes that one day her husband will return.” Thuong added.

It was an extremely arduous and difficult time for Mrs. Van. Newly married husband, living together for 1 day and then separated for 2 years, she does not believe that the two have separated yin and yang. She always had faith that her husband would return.

And that strong faith has paid off. Thuong shared: “Nearly 3 years later, he came back in the flesh and stood in front of her. She cried again until she fainted. It was tears of happiness reunited. It was 1978, grandparents were once again reunited. stay together after overcoming the seemingly eternal separation”.

The promise of the husband despite being married for 9 years without children

Once peace was restored, Mr. Fund and Mrs. Van built a life together. He worked as a military doctor, she followed him around the South and then back to Da Nang. Later, he worked at the Danang Military Medical Hospital. She worked as the chief accountant of a shipyard. Life gradually stabilizes, but what they want most is the first child has not yet come.

“Many people say that he should find a child outside, but he is absolutely faithful. He promised her that whether he had children in the future or not, he still vowed to only be by her side, until his head turned gray. Grandparents and grandparents are so deep. During 9 years of marriage, they still have not been able to become a father or mother. Until one day, he decided to give up all his fame and unfinished career to return to Thai Binh hometown for his father’s sake. At that time, my mother was also old and weak. She also agreed, and the couple returned to their hometown.”said Ms. Thuong.

Having just returned home, an extreme happiness came when she discovered that she had good news. The indescribable happiness after ten years of marriage left the two of them speechless because they were so emotional.

Later, their first son was named Son by the grandparents to mark the land of Son Tra – Da Nang, where the grandparents met again after thinking of the separation of yin and yang. The second child is named Binh – marking the place where the grandparents decided to return after many years of traveling.

Now, 50 years together, Mr. Fund and Mrs. Van still love and respect each other. Grandparents also always instruct their children to love because the most precious is family happiness. The couple also took an emotional photo and released it for the family of their two sons to hang as a mirror of a happy life.

Ms. Thuong said: “My parents-in-law are both precious and affectionate people. Mother-in-law is very loving and treats her two daughters-in-law like a daughter. We learned many valuable things from her.”

Thuong is the second daughter-in-law of her grandparents. She confided that there are parents like that, so her husband respects his wife very much, respects his marriage and always takes care of his family.

And for Mr. Fund and Mrs. Van, their story is still like a “legend” in the hearts of their children and grandchildren.

Ms. Thuong confided: “They are very affectionate and sweet to each other. He took care of her little by little, drove her to get her hair done, bought food to feed her while she was at work for fear that his wife would be hungry. When she went to fan dance or on holidays, he often went to the kitchen to treat her favorite dishes. The full life of grandparents makes everyone dream.”
