The Ukrainian Navy said officers from the 503rd Independent Marine Infantry Battalion took part in the attack.

The Ukrainian Navy on May 11 said: “Marine forces continue to destroy Russian forces. Glory to the Marines! Glory to Ukraine!”.

Video of the naval unit’s attack on May 11 shows bombs being dropped on a target, believed to be a Russian base.

After the bomb fell, a series of massive explosions tore through the buildings below.

From February 24 to May 12, the total combat loss of the Russian army was about 26,650 people, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but this number could not be verified by News Week.

The Ukrainian military also claimed that Russia lost 1,195 tanks, 2,873 armored fighting vehicles, 534 artillery systems, 191 multiple launch missile systems, 87 air defense systems, 199 combat aircraft, 161 helicopters helicopters, 2,019 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, 398 unmanned aerial vehicles, 41 special equipment units and 94 cruise missiles.

Meanwhile, on land, Ukrainian forces claim to have driven Russian troops out of the country’s second-largest city, Kharkiv.

But forces on both sides appear to be at an impasse in the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine.

In another development, new authorities in the Russian-occupied city of Kherson have said they plan to formally request Moscow’s annexation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the conflict will end only when Ukraine recovers all the territories controlled by Russia.
