“When I was a child, I had the habit of always wearing headphones to listen to music. Because in my living environment, people are often very loud. Partly because of people’s habits, partly because at that time people were conflicted and or quarrel.

Instinctively, I get into the habit of listening to music, it’s like a shell for me to be safe in. There was a time when I listened to music 24 hours a day, without a break.

Denis Dang revealed that music and creative inspiration helped him completely change himself. Initially, he moved from Nghe An to Hanoi with the intention of going to university, but he ended up becoming a content creator:

“I don’t know how young people are, but I myself have always given priority to being a good child. I always thought that I had to study to the fullest, I passed the university entrance exam with good marks. so parents can show off to the neighbors.

When I entered life in Hanoi, I was forced to be independent. Only now did I find out what I love to do, but I still finished my university studies and even worked as an auditor for a year.”

Denis Dang shared, he did not join an entertainment company as a content creative director right after graduating because at that time, this profession was still very vague in the eyes of the public:

“At that time, for people, creating content was not an easy concept to imagine. I sang well, often did cultural activities in school, and had a basis to be sought after by entertainment companies.

But I understand that my passion is not singers or actors. I myself was confused at that time, because I knew what I wanted to do, but society at that time had not yet called this profession.

That’s why I decided to slow down a bit. After a year as an auditor, I quit for the next year. After that, a new career in content creation started to take shape and I have been doing this ever since.

Now society has accepted this profession already. I feel it because my parents finally figured out what I was doing.”

“For everyone at that time, the production position was usually behind the scenes and no one noticed. Can’t blame people for not knowing me. Never did I think I would be where I am today, sitting here. here and be interviewed.

Because at that time, I liked working behind the scenes, but I never thought of doing it to be known.”

Regarding the rumor that “the remuneration for Denis Dang in each MV is a fortune”, he said bluntly: “The remuneration of each project depends on the artist. The important thing is that I’m very resentful, if anyone calls me difficult, I’m ready to say: Well, if you don’t have it, take less.

Because I thought of a plan, I had to execute it. So I created a thorny problem of the disparity in the remuneration received from the artists.

People often think the cost of paying Denis is terrible. Someone told me that the cost of paying Denis to create content is a fortune. But no, there are projects I still do for free.

Usually, after each success, the remuneration of each person will increase dramatically, possibly 3 or 4 times higher than before. But since I started creating content for 3 years now, I keep the same salary level.

Because for me, an artist who invests in a product has already spent a lot of money, people love their job and want to build an image, so some people are willing to borrow money to do it. But it is very difficult for singers to collect the cost of MV production.

Accompanying artists, I understand that very well, that’s why I don’t commit to getting high remuneration. So no matter how famous I am, no matter how much media exposure I get, I still keep a price tag. That is a way for me to support artists so that the Vietnamese music industry has a lot of good products.”

According to the Fatherland
