Hai Phong City Police today (May 12) informed that at 6 p.m. on May 10, the Criminal Police Department, An Duong District Police Department coordinated with the Lao Cai Provincial Police to successfully arrest the suspect. Le Van Luan (born 1987, in Coc Man village, Xuan Quang commune, Bao Thang district, Lao Cai province).
Luan was arrested while hiding in a house by a stream, in a less populated area of Lao Cai city.
Before that, around 3 a.m. on April 28, Luan went to Xuan Anh Spa (Hong Phong commune, An Duong district, Hai Phong city) to find Ms. Dao Thi X. (SN 2000, residing in Xuan Quang commune, Bao Thang district) pressed sister X. went to a motel but was refused.
Luan used a knife to stab many times in the abdomen, back and arm of Ms. X.. The victim was taken to the emergency room in time, so he was out of danger.
After committing the crime, Luan fled in Luong Lao village; On May 10, he was arrested by the police force.
After more than 10 days of running away, Hai Phong City Police moved Luan back to the headquarters to investigate the murder.
