List of the world’s largest technology companies in 2022

Apple maintained its No. 1 spot in the tech rankings for the seventh consecutive year in part thanks to record sales of $378.7 billion, up nearly 29% from a year earlier.

Meta Platforms, the first year after rebranding from Facebook, is the 6th largest technology company in the world while chipmaker Intel is in 7th place. The world’s largest technology company belongs to Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing company TSMC, Cisco and IBM, respectively.
