Nostalgic Manchester United in the new collection of Adidas Originals-Fashion Trends

Following the launch of the recent “Pulsebeat” collection, English football team Manchester United have launched a new collection alongside Adidas Originals.

The new collection is inspired by the early ’90s, with nine designs including retro jerseys, graphics and archival-inspired designs.

Design highlights include the classic red home shirt and the green striped goalkeeper kit. In addition to these items, the collection includes a full Superstar tracksuit tracksuit, complete with vintage club emblems and adidas Originals Trefoil logos, as well as archival t-shirts and sweatshirts club mascot Fred the Red.

Debuting the collection, Adidas design director Inigo Turner said:

“From the outfit itself and its respective image, we wanted to capture perfectly the essence of the early ’90s, a truly golden era for the club. We dug into our archive and drew a lot of inspiration from the magazines from those years and their unique aesthetics and inspiration.

Our partnership with the club has come a long way, so we wanted to take the opportunity to really reflect on history and bring a small piece of heritage to modern times with this collection. a classic set that celebrates the relationship and the culture that surrounds it”.
