Ms. Nguyen Thuy Minh Chau (35 years old, Tay Ninh) is currently working as an accountant for a Korean shipping company. Ms. Chau said that after studying in the third year of university, she decided to drop out and go to the US to study in 2008. After 6 years of studying and working in the US, she decided to go online to look for a boyfriend. She said that when she went to university, she had to work part-time to earn money to support her family, so she did not have time to go out and date anyone. Jon took the initiative to text her first. However, because she saw the picture he took with her daughter, she thought it was a girlfriend, thought he was not serious, so she did not reply. Moreover, she thinks that he is too tall and she is very short, so she is afraid that the two of them will not fit together.

For Mr. Jon, from the moment he saw her picture on the dating site, he was impressed by her cuteness and when he first met him in real life, he was impressed by her beauty and voice. When talking, he felt that she was a good person, so he wanted to get to know her more.

As for Chau, on the first day of meeting, Mr. Jon said, “I like babies” even though he already has children. After 3-4 meetings, he made her feel that he would be a good father, who was serious, said to be working and extremely gallant, so she liked him more and agreed to a new relationship for both of them.

Especially older people are stable about everything and ready for a serious relationship. They know a lot and will guide her more in life, so she doesn’t mind marrying someone who already has children. Besides, she looks at the way Mr. Jon treats his children to know if he is a good father, responsible for the family and society as well as helping her in raising children and educating the future.

Speaking of this, Ms. Chau confessed that at first she didn’t know he was a policeman and never thought of dating a policeman. When he shared about his work, she was shocked and timid. However, due to long research, I found him to be good, with special responsibilities, so she felt safe when he was with him, so she was no longer worried.

After taking her to buy an engagement ring, Jon surprised her by proposing while they were walking in the park on a sunny afternoon. Because of the dangerous nature of Mr. Jon’s job, his workplace allows employees to retire very early. For nearly 2 years now, he has retired to stay at home to take care of the house, cook, do laundry, enjoy his hobbies, and she still goes out to work, meet and interact with people. Although he retired early, it did not affect his family’s economy because he worked for the government and enjoyed very good benefits.
