Tourist died when falling into Ha Long Bay
Quang NinhWhen the ship was close to docking, tourist Nguyen Ngoc Phat, 43 years old, stood on the bow of the ship and fell into the sea at 5 pm on May 14.
At noon on the same day, the cruise ship Long Giang 68, number QN 8905, captained by Tran Duy Cuong (39 years old), carried 15 tourists to visit Ha Long Bay along route 2.

When returning, when preparing to dock at Ha Long international passenger port, Phat (from Can Tho hometown) stood at the bow of the ship and fell into the sea.
Everyone on the boat threw lifebuoys, but Phat was lost in the water. At 9pm on the same day, his body was found by the rescue force.
Ha Long City Police are investigating the incident.
