U23 Vietnam encounters a weak opponent

Today (May 15), football of the 31st SEA Games will continue to take place with many matches in the following contents: men’s football, women’s football and women’s futsal.

In Group A of men’s football held in Viet Tri (Phu Tho), U23 Vietnam only had to face a weak opponent, U23 Timor Leste. Before the opponent who lost all 3 matches, U23 Vietnam is likely to play with many backup faces when 99% of teachers and coach Park Hang Seo have won tickets to the semi-finals.

The remaining match of Group A will be a match between U23 Indonesia and U23 Myanmar, where the winning team will advance to the semi-finals while the losing team will have to say goodbye to SEA Games 31.

In the women’s football content, Myanmar and Thailand will compete for the difference when facing weaker opponents, Laos and Singapore in the final match. The top team in the group will avoid the Vietnamese women’s team in the semi-finals.

In the women’s futsal content, the opening match will see Vietnam face Myanmar while the gold medal candidate – Thailand will start the journey with a confrontation with Malaysia.
