Vietnamese athlete proposed to his girlfriend after winning the 31st SEA Games gold medal
As soon as he stepped down from the podium to receive the medal, SEA Games champion Nguyen Tien Trong knelt down to propose to his girlfriend.
Nguyen Tien Trong won gold in the long jump at the 31st SEA Games with a record of 7.80m, contributing to the achievement of 5 gold medals in the 2nd day of the Vietnamese athletics team at SEA Games 31.
After stepping down from the podium to receive the medal, the SEA Games champion knelt down to propose to his girlfriend – the athlete of the Vietnamese rattan team Nguyen Thi Phuong Trinh had just returned from the Hoang Mai gymnasium.
Nguyen Tien Trong’s actions made his girlfriend very emotional. The beautiful girl agrees to let her boyfriend give the ring. The people around cheered and did not forget to take out their phones to capture this special moment.
Tien Trong said he was determined to win gold SEA Games 31 to make a marriage proposal right at My Dinh Stadium.
